Job summary

Affinity Hospice Management LLC is seeking a compassionate hospice aide to support patients in Washington under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care provided, and ensuring comfort and dignity for patients receiving end-of-life care.

You will work closely with the RN Case Manager, communicate with patients and families, and follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and compassionate home-based hospice environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in Washington state (NAC/HCA).
• Current CPR certification and ability to read/understand care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Report observations and changes to the RN Case Manager promptly.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor for signs of discomfort or distress.
• Document care provided in the medical record per policy.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and basic rehabilitation activities as directed.
• Support families with compassionate communication and education.
