Job summary

Apploi in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Hospice Aide to assist with patient personal care under a registered nurse's supervision. You will help with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility while ensuring safety and maintaining patient dignity.

Responsibilities include observing, reporting changes to the RN Case Manager, and supporting family communication. Prior hospice or long-term care experience is preferred; valid CNA and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC).
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (hands-on demonstration required).
• Current Food Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Communicate with patients and families with confidentiality and respect.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment; assist in transfers and ambulation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and hygiene.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN Case Manager.
• Support light housekeeping and meal-related tasks as assigned.
• Document care provided and observations in EMR per organizational standards.
