Hospice of Huntington is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to support patients with personal care under the supervision of an RN. The role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and relief of symptoms in a home or facility setting.

You will assist with bathing, mobility, hygiene, and routine tasks, document changes, and communicate with the care team. WV and OH licensure, plus transport and a current CNA certification, are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate, preferred.
• Proof of current nursing assistant certification.
• Minimum one (1) year experience.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Licensure in West Virginia and Ohio.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care activities under RN supervision as prescribed on the plan of care.
• Assist with bedpan, bedside commode, and catheter management.
• Assist the patient with mobility, ROM, turning and positioning.
• Report patient status changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain current and accurate documentation.
