Job summary

Everstory Partners in Michigan seeks a Sales Counselor to assist families with funeral selections and attend services, selling pre-need and at-need services and related inventory.

Earners can expect first-year pay of $40,000–$50,000 with uncapped commissions, plus training pay of $18.00 per hour for six weeks. The role requires a valid driver’s license and availability to work some holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working with a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise.
• Lead generation through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.
