Job summary

Everstory Partners in Albany, GA is seeking a Sales Counselor who focuses on building relationships with individuals and families seeking funeral and cemetery services. You will meet with clients, explain products, and guide decisions, earning commission based on sales performance.

You'll develop a pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, and community outreach, maintain follow-up in HubSpot, and collaborate with funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure a compassionate customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of sales experience preferred (outside sales, B2C, etc.).
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment with prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with multiple leads and appointments.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and standard business apps.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local appointments; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must obtain and maintain state licenses/registrations within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-ins; conduct follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships and guide customers through purchasing decisions; complete contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, relationships, appointments, and sales opportunities.
