Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to help families make informed funeral and cemetery decisions with compassionate guidance. The role combines consultative sales, B2C outreach, and community networking to build strong customer relationships.

You will manage leads via HubSpot CRM, guide families through purchasing decisions, and earn commissions based on performance. This full-time position requires availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• One year of sales experience, including outside or B2C sales, preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, follow-up activity, and sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
