Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product options with compassion and expertise. This role blends consultative selling, B2C sales, lead generation, and community outreach to build lasting relationships and drive business growth.

Responsibilities include meeting with families, selling services and merchandise, managing leads in HubSpot, and collaborating with funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure a positive customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic).
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build a pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, networking and outreach.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and walk-in opportunities.
• Follow up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete sales contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events and offsite appointments.
• Partner with funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure a positive experience.
