Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product decisions with empathy and care, using consultative sales and community outreach. You will build a sales pipeline from inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals and proactive prospecting, manage activities in HubSpot CRM, and work with local teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and members of the local community.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, follow-up, and sales opportunities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events and offsite customer appointments.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
