Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Flint, MI to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product options. You will meet with clients, present solutions, and close sales while building a robust pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, and community outreach.

The role offers uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package. A valid driver’s license and local travel are required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales or related relationship-based roles preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-ins, and follow up with prospective customers.
• Use HubSpot to track leads, activities, and sales opportunities.
• Attend events to support families and develop new business.
• Collaborate with funeral homes, cemetery teams, and leadership to ensure a positive customer experience.
