Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product choices. The role combines consultative B2C sales, business development, lead generation, and community outreach to build lasting customer relationships.

The position offers commission-based compensation with uncapped potential, a guaranteed minimum, and training pay of $18.00 per hour for the first 6 weeks. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in sales or relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-ins; follow up through the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads and sales opportunities.
