Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Twinsburg, OH to help families make funeral and cemetery decisions with care. You will manage leads, build a pipeline, and guide customers through purchasing decisions, earning commissions based on performance.

The role combines consultative B2C sales, business development, and community outreach, with training provided during an initial paid period and mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in sales or relationship-based roles preferred.
• CRM experience with HubSpot or similar platforms preferred.
• Commission-based, performance-driven environment; prospecting and lead generation expected.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local appointments; mileage reimbursement.
• Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays; must obtain required licenses within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchasing decisions.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities; track activity.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families; participate in events.
