Job summary

Everstory Partners in Somerset, KY seeks a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery decisions, selling pre-need and at-need services and related products. You will build a pipeline via leads, referrals, and outreach, while managing activity in HubSpot. Excellent consultative selling and strong relationship skills are essential.

You will participate in a commission-based environment with uncapped earnings potential, plus paid training and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Dynamics preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local appointments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state licenses within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and offer guidance on funeral and cemetery products.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build a pipeline through leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and follow up throughout the sales process.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, activity, and sales opportunities.
• Attend services as needed to support families.
• Partner with funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure a positive experience.
