Job summary

Everstory Partners in Ashland, KY is seeking a Sales Counselor to meet with individuals and families, understanding their needs and guiding them to suitable funeral and cemetery products and services.

You will sell pre-need and at-need services, manage a pipeline through referrals, inbound leads, and community outreach, and nurture long-term relationships with customers and the local community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, relationships, appointments, and sales opportunities.
