Job summary

Everstory Partners seeks a Sales Counselor for Hillcrest Memorial Park in Jackson, MI. You will meet with individuals and families, advise on funeral and cemetery options, and build a trusted relationship while driving sales both pre-need and at-need.

You will manage leads in HubSpot, conduct follow-ups, and participate in community outreach to develop new business. This full-time role includes paid training and uncapped commissions based on sales performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of experience in sales or related relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking and outreach.
• Respond to inquiries and follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
