Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product decisions, building relationships and a strong sales pipeline in the Birmingham area.

You will earn first-year earnings of $45,000 to $50,000 with uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, plus a paid training period and mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, including outside sales, B2C sales, sales consulting, customer service, business development, or other relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses or registrations within 60 days of employment or per state law.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
