Job summary

Everstory Partners in Vernon Hills, IL, seeks a results-driven Sales Counselor to help families navigate funeral and cemetery decisions with care. The role blends consultative B2C sales, lead generation, and community outreach to grow a meaningful client base.

You will earn commissions with an uncapped potential, may receive a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, and undergo paid training during the first six weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic).
• Experience in sales, B2C or relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot/Salesforce/Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through leads, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, options clearly and compassionately; guide purchasing decisions.
