Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Oak Brook, IL. This role focuses on consultative sales to help families select funeral and cemetery products and services. You will manage leads, build relationships, and guide families through purchasing decisions.

The position offers uncapped commissions, a guaranteed minimum hourly rate if applicable, and a paid six-week training period. Evening and weekend availability may be required as part of service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.
• One year of experience in sales, including outside sales, B2C sales, sales consulting, customer service, business development, account management, or other relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) preferred.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment, including prospecting, lead generation, and developing new business.

Responsabilités

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build a sales pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, proactive prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and members of the local community.
• Explain products, services, pricing, and available options in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, follow-up activity, and sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and offsite customer appointments.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
