Everstory Partners, based in Joliet, IL, is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery decisions with empathy and expertise. The role combines consultative B2C sales, business development, and community outreach to grow the client base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic).
• One year of sales, including outside sales, B2C sales, sales consulting, customer service, business development, or related roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM/lead-management platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Commission-based, performance-driven environment with prospecting and lead generation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities; follow up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
