Everstory Partners, located in Oak Brook, IL, seeks a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product choices. You will build a sales pipeline through various channels, manage leads in HubSpot, and earn commissions based on performance.

The role includes an hourly training period for six weeks, a base-genre emphasis with uncapped commissions, and the opportunity to grow with a people-first team in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• One year of sales experience or related relationship-based roles.
• Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment with prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays; valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, outreach, and community networking.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and walk-in opportunities; follow up with prospects through the sales process.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities; document activity.
