Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Saginaw, MI to help families make informed funeral and cemetery decisions through consultative, compassionate sales. You will manage leads, guide purchasing decisions, and earn commissions based on performance in a structured sales process.

The role requires meeting with families, building a robust pipeline, and collaborating with funeral homes, cemeteries, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of sales experience preferred (outside sales, B2C, or related roles).
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or MS Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment with prospecting and lead generation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-ins, and follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and the local community.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchases and complete contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
