Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Berkley, MI to guide families through selecting funeral and cemetery services with compassion. You will manage leads, conduct consultations, and close sales while building lasting relationships.

The role emphasizes consultative B2C sales, community outreach, and prospecting, with earnings driven by commissions and a guaranteed minimum hourly rate during training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency preferred (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, Arabic).
• One year of experience in sales or relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for local appointments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; follow up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and families and guide purchasing decisions.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, and sales opportunities.
