Everstory Partners in Raleigh, NC seeks a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery options. You will meet with clients, sell pre-need and at-need services, build a sales pipeline, respond to inquiries, and manage activity in HubSpot CRM.

This full-time role offers paid training, uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• 1 year of sales or related experience preferred.
• CRM experience (HubSpot/Salesforce/MS Dynamics) preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based environment with prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Excellent time-management and organization across multiple leads and appointments.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement offered.
• Must obtain state licenses/registrations within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and offer product options.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through referrals, walk-ins, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; follow up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Use HubSpot CRM to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
