Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Chapmanville, WV. The role focuses on consultative B2C sales for funeral, cemetery, and memorial products. You will build pipelines through leads, referrals, and community outreach while guiding families through purchasing decisions.

Expected earnings in the first year range from $45,000 to $65,000 with uncapped commissions or a guaranteed hourly minimum, plus paid training. Occasional evenings and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic).
• One year of sales-related experience preferred.
• CRM experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.
• Comfort with commission-based, performance-driven sales.
• Strong sales communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; mileage reimbursement.
• Must obtain/state licenses within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and propose funeral and cemetery products.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline via inbound/outbound leads, referrals, and networking.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-ins; conduct follow-up through the sales cycle.
• Use HubSpot to track leads, relationships, appointments, and opportunities.
• Attend community events and support families during services.
