Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents per care plans. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents’ conditions, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, responding to calls, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and protecting residents’ privacy. Training is provided; CPR preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries clearly in flow sheets, notes, charts, etc.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain an atmosphere of warmth and comfort; greet residents and assist with daily needs.
• Protect resident privacy and report unauthorized disclosures.
• Observe and report pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent ulcers.
• Assist with daily activities and mobility as trained.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous chemicals.
