Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under supervision. You will identify residents before procedures, assist with meals and daily activities, and document care accurately.

Responsibilities include monitoring conditions, reporting changes to the nurse supervisor, maintaining privacy, and following safety policies. A supportive team and post-acute care environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business material and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per care plan.
• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and privacy.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities as trained.
• Monitor vital signs and report concerns; ensure room and supplies are prepared.
• Assist with meals, personal care, and incident reporting as required.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials.
• Participate in nursing shift reports and quality improvement activities.
