Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Danbury is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors and adults in Waterbury, CT, and nearby communities. No caregiving experience is required as training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; all you need is a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to lift up to 25-50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
• Background check may be required per state/federal law.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands where applicable.
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.
