Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Danbury is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to help seniors and adults maintain independence in their own homes. No caregiving experience is required because we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

You will deliver non-medical home care, including bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, in Danbury, CT and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; willingness to learn is key.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
