Job summary

ComForCare is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in Danbury, CT to help seniors and adults remain independent at home. Training and support are provided, even for those without caregiving experience.

You will work with clients in Woodbury and nearby communities, delivering safe, compassionate in-home care and companionship. We welcome PCA, HHA, or CNA credentials, and offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No caregiving experience required; willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check may be required in accordance with Connecticut state regulations and federal law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable with punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients transfer and ambulate safely.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders and monitoring wellbeing.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Transport to appointments and errands when applicable.
