Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – Danbury is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors in their homes across New Milford, CT, and nearby communities. No prior caregiving experience required; we provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed while making a real difference in independence and safety.

You will perform grooming, transfers, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and transport assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required; willingness to learn.
• Welcomes Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable).
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.
