Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – Danbury is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to help seniors and adults maintain independence at home in Bridgeport, CT and nearby communities. Training and support are provided to help you succeed, even if you have no prior caregiving experience.

You'll deliver non-medical home care, including personal care, mobility assistance, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship, ensuring clients’ safety and dignity while supporting families with peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; willingness to learn.
• We welcome PCAs, HHAs, or CNAs.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Help clients transfer and ambulate safely
• Meal planning and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transport to appointments and errands when applicable
• Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care team
