Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Danbury, CT is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors in their homes, including New Milford and nearby communities. No caregiving experience required; training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required; training and support provided.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check may be required per CT regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients transfer and ambulate safely.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands when applicable.
• Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care team.
