Job summary

Ramey-Estep Homes, Inc. is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage timely client referrals and intake processes. You will maintain connections with referral sources and draft communications regarding client case assignments.

You will track insurance information, assess eligibility for RE services, and coordinate with Program Directors to assign service providers. Strong communication with families and a professional cross-department interface are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in community-based services preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential data.
• Interfacing with all departments professionally.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Background screening.
• TB test or chest X-ray proof.
• Excellent Foundations training.
• Maintain 40 hours of annual training.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform timely intake processes on client referrals.
• Maintain professional connections with referral sources.
• Track client referrals in a timely manner per regulations and policy.
• Draft professional emails and letters regarding client case assignments.
• Maintain a database to track referral sources.
• Track client insurance information and assess services coverage.
• Assess client and family needs to determine eligibility for RE services.
• Collaborate with Program Directors to assign service providers.
• Communicate effectively with families/guardians in a compassionate way.
• Promote a positive view of RE/Re-group to the public and outside agencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
