Job summary

Ramey-Estep / Re-group seeks a referrals and intake coordinator to manage timely intake processes for client referrals and maintain professional connections with referral sources. You will draft emails, track referrals, and manage a client insurance matrix to determine service coverage.

You will work with program directors to assign service providers, communicate with families compassionately, promote RE/Re-group to the public, and support compliance with ethics and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in community-based services preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and agency applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential data and coordinate with all departments.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Background screening required.
• TB test completed or proof of negative chest X-ray.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform timely intake processes on client referrals.
• Maintain professional connections with referral sources.
• Track referrals in a timely manner per policy guidelines.
• Draft professional emails and letters regarding client case assignments.
• Maintain a database to track referral sources.
• Track client insurance information and assess service coverage.
• Assess client needs to determine service eligibility.
• Work with Program Directors to assign appropriate service providers.
• Communicate effectively with families/guardians.
• Promote a positive view of RE/Re-group to the public and outside agencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
