Job summary

Housing Works Emergency & Transitional Housing Program (ETH) seeks an Intake Coordinator to manage referrals, eligibility screening, and enrollment in a time‑sensitive housing program. You will maintain waitlists, coordinate with partners, and ensure accurate data entry and reporting, aligning with Housing Works’ mission and values.

Candidate should have a social services or data entry background, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with 2+ years in social services or data entry.
• Experience in health care or non-profit setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review program census and submit daily vacancy reports.
• Screen referrals for eligibility and site placement.
• Assist with gathering additional documentation to determine eligibility.
• Coordinate with care teams for evaluation and screening of referrals.
• Manage the program waitlist using electronic records systems.
