Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District is seeking a part-time Program and Outreach Specialist to plan and conduct library programs for all ages and to build relationships with community partners.

You’ll visit outside agencies, assist customers with materials, and help promote library services while delivering excellent customer service. This role reports to the Branch Manager and requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of one-year related job experience.
• Experience planning and executing library, community, school or other programs and events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and carries out public educational, cultural, and creative programs and events for adults, teens, and children within PCCLD mission, goals, and methods.
• Engages in hospitality to provide customer assistance; greets customers and offers assistance locating materials.
• Builds partnerships with community organizations to expand library programming.
• Instructs customers on use of library computers and digital resources.
• Compiles program statistics and maintains program data.
