Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District is hiring a Librarian/Assistant Branch Manager to support daily operations at the branch and partner with community organizations. You will lead outreach for youth and adults, supervise staff, and step in as Person-In-Charge when the manager is away.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year library experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer service and assists patrons with finding materials.
• Presents story times and outreach programs for children; coordinates reading programs.
• Partners with outside organizations to meet community needs; conducts outreach to senior facilities.
• Supervises branch operations, staffing coverage, and scheduling in the manager’s absence.
• Leads safety, cashiering and daily reporting as required by the Branch Manager.
