Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of library experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to develop and present library programs for children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with daily operations and scheduling.
• Serve as Person-In-Charge in Manager’s absence, with opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Promote library services and community partnerships.
• Provide research assistance and instruction on library resources and e-resources.
• Supervise staff and ensure safe, secure branch operations.
