Pueblo City County Library District is looking for a Librarian Assistant Branch Manager to support daily operations, lead youth and adult programs, and ensure excellent service. The role emphasizes outreach, staff coordination, and ensuring safe, welcoming library spaces.

Requires a Master’s in Library Science with library experience preferred. Strong communication, research, and supervisory skills are essential to serve Pueblo County’s diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Masters in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of library experience preferred.
• Ability to develop and present engaging children's programs.
• Strong reference and research skills for diverse patrons.
• Excellent customer service and professional image.
• Leadership and supervisory capabilities for branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily branch operations including safety and security.
• In charge in the Branch Manager's absence; manage shifts and scheduling.
• Lead and partner on youth and adult outreach programs and story times.
• Provide instructional support for patrons using e-resources and devices.
• Promote services, build community partnerships, and prepare program reports.
• Support timekeeping, reports, and staff development activities.
