Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District in Pueblo, Colorado, seeks a Librarian/Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and deliver outstanding customer service. The role reports to the Branch Manager, develops youth and adult programs, builds community partnerships, and ensures safe, welcoming service.

Qualifications

• MLS from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of library experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with daily operations.
• Supervise staffing coverage and scheduling.
• Serve as PIC in the manager’s absence.
• Promote customer service and outreach programs.
• Provide public instruction in e-resources and devices.
• Develop and present children’s story times.
• Build community partnerships to promote library resources.
