Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District is seeking a Librarian/Assistant Branch Manager to help manage daily operations at a branch library and grow community programs. You will assist with customer service, programs for youth and adults, and outreach to partners.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Library Science and strong supervisory and communication skills; you will serve as PIC when the manager is away and help with safety, scheduling, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of library experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with daily operations and scheduling.
• Lead youth and adult programs and outreach events.
• Serve as Person-In-Charge in the manager’s absence.
• Provide research assistance and guidance on resources.
