Avanath Capital is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations across leasing, reporting, rent processing, and marketing at our Los Angeles community.

You will collaborate with the management team to ensure outstanding resident service, accurate bookkeeping, and adherence to LIHTC and Fair Housing regulations. This role emphasizes professionalism, community engagement, and staff coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program Knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid track record of bookkeeping and rent collection.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing Laws.
• Superior interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse personalities.
• Resourceful and organized.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, Internet and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsabilités

• Manages resident relations and customer service by responding promptly to complaints and requests.
• Assist with leasing duties, including tours of prospective residents.
• Handle rent processing, deposits, and posting to ledgers; monitor delinquencies.
• Support monthly projection reporting and inspect vacancies and make-readies.
• Meet with Community Manager and Regional Manager to discuss performance and action plans.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
