Job summary

Asset Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines onsite.

You will supervise staff, support leasing efforts, and drive property performance while maintaining high resident satisfaction through proactive service and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately for residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily account receivables.
• Monitor bad debt and handle late notices and evictions.
• Assist in meeting property budgeted revenues and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and security deposits.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead leasing strategies and ensure timely lease signings and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve resident concerns.
