Job summary

Avanath is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations across reporting, rent processing, leasing, marketing, and supervising staff when the Community Manager is unavailable.

The incumbent must be highly professional with a proactive approach to resident and workforce engagement, complaint resolution, and community events. LIHTC knowledge, rent collection experience, and proficiency with Yardi Voyager are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit program knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing.
• Strong interpersonal, tactful, and organized approach.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, Internet & email.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident satisfaction and retention through prompt responses to complaints and requests.
• Serve as a resource center for residents on community-related issues.
• Organize resident appreciation and retention events.
• Maintain confidential files for each resident.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and handle foot traffic.
• Assist with leasing duties and related activities.
