Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support resident relations, leasing duties, and community operations. You will assist with rent processing, reporting, and maintaining compliant records, while upholding Fair Housing and local regulations.

The role emphasizes professionalism, strong communication, and collaboration across team members and vendors in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing Laws.
• Superior interpersonal skills with diverse personalities.
• Resourceful, organized, and reliable.
• Proficient with Windows (Word, Excel) and email; basic internet skills.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Support resident relations and customer service initiatives.
• Assist with leasing duties, including tours for prospective residents.
• Handle property finances: collect, post, deposit rents and security deposits.
• Review resident files and enforce lease terms and delinquencies.
• Assist monthly projection reporting and property inspections.
