Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment operations, implement policies, and ensure compliant, well-maintained communities. You will oversee leasing, staff training, budgeting, and vendor relations, with a focus on occupancy, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong English communication, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to problems and data.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficient PC skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and community software.
• OSHA knowledge and ability to work evenings and weekends.
• College degree preferred.
• CAM certification is desirable.
• ARM certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and lead by example; manage admin processes.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• Prepare annual budgets and rent collection processes; deposit rents timely.
• Review, code, and approve invoices for payments; supervise payments.
• Make daily bank deposits and ensure full occupancy through marketing.
• Oversee leasing teams; enforce policies and prepare leases and forms.
• Supervise outside contractors and readiness for code inspections.
