Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations and implement company policies. You will manage budgets, leasing, staff, maintenance, and compliance across a multifamily property, ensuring a well-maintained building and strong resident relations.

The role requires 3+ years of property management experience, strong English communication, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Fair Housing certification required before interaction with prospects.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems and act decisively.
• Proficiency with MS Office and community software.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel following company directives.
• Provide staff support, promote teamwork, and ensure timely admin processes.
• Determine promotions for on-site personnel and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare budgets, monitor rents, and oversee collections and reporting.
• Oversee leasing staff, close leases, and pursue renewals aggressively.
• Manage emergencies, risk procedures, and vendor relationships.
