Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations and implement company policies. You will manage staff, budgets, leasing, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and investor expectations.

A strong focus on resident satisfaction, risk management, and on-site leadership is required. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of property management, English fluency, and relevant certifications (CAM/ARM/Fair Housing).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification required before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency with PC, Microsoft Office, and community software applications.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends; OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and maintain a harmonious environment.
• Prepare annual budgets and rent projections; ensure rents and late fees are collected.
• Oversee leasing practices and leasing staff; enforce policies and procedures.
• Ensure property is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with laws.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors; manage emergencies and safety procedures.
