Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an on-site Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk management while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies and fair housing guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, screen and develop personnel, and implement leasing strategies, budgeting, and resident relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Use consistent techniques & company directives to screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor the timely receipt and reconciliation of deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Monitor the timely receipt, reconciliation, and coding of all vendor invoices.
• Ensure property closeout is completed on time and ownership financial reports are accurate.
• Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
• Give direction to and monitor maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities.
