Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community under regional supervision. The role includes staff management, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management to maximize net operating income.

You will lead on-site teams, enforce policies, and ensure safety and fair housing compliance. As the on-site leader, you will develop annual budgets, coordinate marketing plans, and maintain resident satisfaction through effective retention

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred or related housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations under Regional Manager guidance.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure staff performance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor revenues and expenses.
• Plan marketing, leasing, and resident retention programs; ensure timely leasing transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, fair housing, and liability guidelines.
• Manage emergencies, service requests, and property maintenance to protect NOI.
