Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, develop yearly budgets, monitor rent collections and vendor invoices, drive leasing performance, address resident concerns, and lead emergency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years' experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts
• Monitor rent collections and deposits; reconcile accounts
• Manage vendor invoices and accounting records
• Lead emergency team for the property and coordinate with staff and residents

Education
